The Best of 2015 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS)

We recently returned from a trip to Las Vegas for the 2015 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS). Organized together with the International Builders` Show, it drew quite a crowd: over 100,000 people got together to check out the latest, the best, and the greatest building products to hit the market. Our focus, of course, was the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show. The sheer amount of beautiful fixtures and finishes on display was staggering!

Whether planning to update your kitchen or bath, consider the following to bring extra zing, splash and oomph to your spaces:

1. Stunning countertops (well, what else?)

We loved the countertop by Ceasarstone that was handmade from individually cut and set semi-precious stones. The pattern we saw is called Tiger Eye of the Concetto Collection – doesn`t that title just paint the best picture? By the way, some of the semi-previous stone surfaces in the Concetto Collection are translucent and can be backlit.

2. Faucets for the fanciful

No need to fret – the newest and best faucets not only deliver the goods and look great, but also offer a mixture of finishes that work with even the most discerning kitchen designs. Best of the bunch? The list would be long! Check out Brizio’s swan-inspired faucet from its Vuelo collection in a chrome and matte for something different and new.

3. Colorful ranges

Not all kitchens need to be monochrome – yes, white is in, but some of us still yearn for that splash of color to spice things up and liven your living space. And what better way to do that than install a range in a bold tone that will truly be the focal point of the kitchen? Check out this amazing orange range by La Cornue…doesn`t that simply beckon to organize a fabulous get-together and cook an amazing meal – on that lovely range, of course!

4. Being organized & creative can happen hand in hand!

OK, we all have clutter lurking in the back of our cupboards and drawers. Admit it or not, it is there. Luckily for us, there are designs and solutions to battle the mess and keep everything tidy.  For example, you can customize your cabinets with features such as this corner swing out LeMans System, Richelieu Hardware.

Oh and check out Wine Logic – they won a Best of Kitchen Silver Award at this year’s KBIS. Made of solid wood, they have styles that have 18, 24, or 30 bottle capacity. Nothing to say but “Cheers!”
